Our client is a successful provider of food service to a wide range of industries throughout the UK. Due to continued expansion they are seeking a proactive, self-motivated and organised person with excellent communication skills to join their team as a sales administrator.


Internal Sales Support / Sales Administrator - The Role



  • Looking after customers within a set geographical area

  • Proactively contacting your customers, taking and processing orders

  • Dealing with incoming orders, by email and telephone

  • Providing high levels of customer service; dealing with queries and problems

  • Problem solving and administration

  • Up-selling


Experience and Skills


  • Experience in a similar role / customer service / account management / sales

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Good administration skills

  • Strong IT skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential

  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines


This role is busy and fast paced, candidates must be able to work in a pressurised environment and be commercially astute.


The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. 20 days holiday rising with service and a contributory pension scheme. The company offers a basic salary of £15-15500 plus bonus which equates to 20% of salary.  Parking is available but the company is accessible by public transport. There will be opportunities to progress and develop within the company.
