Job Description

Are you used to working in a busy sales office?  Do you have lots of energy and personality and enjoy building relationships with your customers?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

 

 Our client based in Nottingham works within the print and packaging industry.  Due to ongoing expansion they are looking for an additional account manager to join their team.   You will be someone who thrives in a high pressure environment and enjoys being busy, managing multiple simultaneous tasks.

  • Account manage existing clients.

  • Taking incoming enquiries from clients.

  • Manage incoming sales enquiries from initial call through to delivery.

  • Take a brief from clients, making suggestions on alternative methods, upselling and cross-selling as appropriate.

  • Proof artwork, confirm materials, quantities and timescale.

  • Liaise with production ensuring that orders are processed on time.

  • Work with couriers and delivery companies to ensure timely delivery.

  • Maintain contact with clients throughout the sales process.

  • Research client companies to ensure a thorough understanding of their potential requirements, understanding the unique needs of each client.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven account management / sales experience.

  • Proficiency with various Computer Software Systems.

  • Ability to be proactive, maintaining contact with clients.

  • Good Written and Oral Communication skills for creating professional documents and giving presentations to interested clients.

  • Good Time Management and Organisational skills.

  • Willingness to travel to give presentations, meet with potential customers.

 

The role would ideally suit someone from the print, packaging or point of sales industry who is looking for the next step in their career but we would also be interested in hearing from anyone who is currently working within sales administration or account management in a bust sales office who can demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritise.

 

The company offers a competitive basic salary of £22-26k plus generous bonus.  20 days holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays and Christmas shut-down.  Company pension scheme.
