Job Description

Our client based in Nottingham (NG8) sell a large range of products to industry, selling from a catalogue that now includes over ten thousand product lines.  Due to ongoing success and expansion they are now looking to appoint a proactive sales coordinator / sales administrator to join the existing team to help provide outstanding service to clients and support the field sales team in managing customer accounts and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Supporting external sales team this may include raising sample orders, quotations, attending calls etc

  • Provide primary telephone answering on incoming customer calls to the business.

  • Give advice to existing and potential customers on product selection, technical information, prices, stock levels, deliveries.

  • Receive and input sales orders placed via telephone, fax or by e-mail.

  • Ensure all sales orders are despatched in line with the customers’ requirements, all orders should be acknowledged with either a confirmation phone call or e-mail back, Advise customers on expected delivery date

  • Provide quotations and ensure sent back to customer within designated time frame.

  • Follow up on all quotations

  • Upon receipt of containers run back order reports and call customers to advise them their goods have arrived (this is a good opportunity to acquire additional sales).

  • Management of Credit returns coming back into the business.

  • Organizing overseas deliveries this also includes Southern Ireland.

  • Database – Capturing contractor leads that come into the business & maximize any sales opportunities, this could range from sending Catalogues to organizing a member of the sale team to visit.

  • Account management and reporting on your own base of accounts.
