Job Description

Working from modern offices in Burton on Trent, our client is a leading distributor of Mobile phones selling through dealers throughout the UK.  They are looking to appoint a Stock Administrator to assist with the general administration of their stock processing systems, ensuring that stock is ordered daily, and that all orders are despatched accurately from the distribution centre in Milton Keynes.

  • Creating stock item codes, product codes and maintaining stock adjustments.

  • Ensure daily update of stock levels within stock computer system

  • Changing pricing and commission details.

  • Provide the business and partners with stock updates.

  • Handle daily correspondence with head office on all matters concerning stock and relevant purchase orders.

  • Handle all dealer stock enquiries.

  • Deal with returns based on company returns policy guidelines etc.

 

Experience

  • Good understanding of stock and stock related matters – experience of dealing through a distribution centre would be useful.

  • Experience working in customer service, helpdesk or sales desk environment handling and resolving queries.

  • Must be PC literate and accurate at data entry.

The company offers a basic salary of £18000 plus 10% performance related bonus (after successful completion of probation)  Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Monday to Thursday inclusive) and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Fridays).  Half an hour for lunch each day – 37.5 hours per week, Stakeholder pension scheme, Life assurance, Health Cash Plan, 28 days holiday (inc. Bank/Public Holidays), increasing with service.
