Job Description

Our client, based in Burton on Trent, sells a range of products into the business market.  Due to expansion they are looking to appoint a stock administrator to join their team and liaise between clients, the sales team and their central warehouse.

This is an office based role and would suit someone with good attention to detail as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.  The role will involve.

  • Maintaining high levels of stock accuracy.

  • Liaising with suppliers

  • Updating stock records.

  • Liaising with warehouse and dispatch departments.

  • Checking order details with clients.

  • Keeping sales team advised of out of stock lines

  • Generating stock orders and forecasts to minimise out of stock situations

  • Updating customers on progress of orders, dealing with any delivery problems proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role would ideally suit someone from a stock control / stock administration background who has strong customer service skills.  You must have strong computer skills with intermediate Excel skills and a goof working knowledge of Microsoft office.  Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving is essential.

The company offers a basic salary circa £18-20k, 20 days holiday per year and company pension scheme.
